Nylon Drawn Textured Yarn

Drawn Textured Yarn (DTY) yarn is obtained from NYLON POY after texturing process on the texturing machines. During texturing, pre-oriented yarn (POY) is permanently crimped using friction. As a result, elasticity and heat retention are increased; the yarn receives a pleasant handle, while thermal conduction is simultaneously reduced.

1. Excellent abrasion resistance and high degree of tear resistance.
2. Excellent elasticity and wrinkles are easily smoothed out.
3. Good tenacity and high yarn evenness.
4. Heat can allow nylon to set form permanently.
5. Fabric of nylon filament yarn is one of the most lightest fabric and has excellent draping qualities.
6. Nylon is resistance to the moths and fungi.
7. Good moisture absorbent and resistant to perspiration.
8. Resistant to alkaline and most solvents.
9. Good dying ability: nylon can be easily dyed with a wider range of dyes. The dyed fabrics retain their colour and have good resistance to fading.
